Every one of the Malaysia tour packages on this page is written out in full below, with nights, price per person and the region it belongs to. Nobody is asked to answer anything first. Twelve of the entries cover one town each, two nights to five, and the per person figure on those begins at $610 and reaches $1,460. Eleven join two towns and the road between, five nights to nine, from $1,500 to $2,580. A joined entry is priced at exactly what its two towns come to on their own, and the office states that rather than dressing it up.

The sequence the entries fall into

Single towns come first, in the order the six regions are set out on the region page, and inside each region they sit alphabetically. Pairings follow the same rule, filed under the region of the first town named. Nothing is ranked. No line is marked as more suitable than another, because the office has no way of knowing which one suits a reader it has not spoken to.

Two things interrupt that order. Entries on the east coast carry a line about November through February, when the wind turns and most of the small places along that shore close until the weather settles. Entries in the hill country carry a line about night temperature, which surprises people who have spent the previous week at sea level. Both notes sit next to the entry rather than lower down the page.
