The unit behind every number

The arithmetic assumes two adults in one room, since that is how the properties bill and how the driver is booked. One person alone in a room costs more, and the written offer states the difference in plain figures.
The range across the whole list, all of it inside Peninsular Malaysia, runs from $610 to $2,580 for each traveler. Where an entry sits in that range follows from how many nights it holds, how far the road legs run, and what the rooms are like. Two entries at the same number can look nothing alike on the ground.
Rooms, road legs and a face at the door
Three things sit inside the figure. First, the rooms for every night listed in the entry. Second, the road movements named in that same entry, each one with its own driver and vehicle, not a seat in a shared van. Third, the guide or host who turns up where the entry says somebody will.
Breakfast counts only where the property already puts it in the room rate, and the entry says so when it does. If two places are joined into a pair, the movement between them belongs to the figure as well, with the same driver arrangement as any other road leg in the list.
The line past which the figure says nothing
Getting to the country and getting home again are yours to arrange. This office puts together nothing that flies and nothing that crosses water, so the number never carries a seat on either. Meals beyond a breakfast that comes with the room are settled by you, as are entry charges at parks, caves, museums and anything else with a gate.
Laundry, drinks, tips, phone data and anything else personal stay off the figure too. The office also sells no insurance of any kind and gives no advice about it, so that cost, if you want one, sits with whoever you buy it from and never appears in the offer you receive from this office.
Who pays this office
The traveler pays this office nothing. Not a planning charge, not a handling charge, not a percentage on top of the figure. The companies that operate the rooms, the vehicles and the walks pay a commission out of what you would have paid them anyway, and that is the whole of the income here.
Money never moves through this website. Card details are requested nowhere on it, and no sum is taken here at any stage. Each operator invoices you under its own name, on its own paper, with its own conditions attached, and you settle with that company directly rather than with this office.
Why the written offer may differ from this page
The figures here are honest at the moment they were written and they are not promises. A property can move its rate for a school holiday or a festival week, a road can close and stretch a transfer well past its usual length, and a small house with six rooms can simply be full on the nights you want.
So the figure on this page is a starting point and the written offer is the number that counts. When the office sends it, every line is priced against what the operators confirm for your dates, and it holds still for the period stated on it. Nothing is booked, and nothing is owed, until you reply and say go ahead.
The office charges you no booking fee of any kind. It is paid a commission by the companies that run the parts of a trip, and that is the whole of its income.
Asked about this one more than once
- Is the figure for one person or for the room?
For one person. It is written on the footing that two adults share a room, so a couple books two of the same figure. Somebody going alone pays more for the room, and that difference is printed in the offer rather than left to be discovered later.
- If two places are joined, what happens to the arithmetic?
The pair costs the two places added together. Nothing is put on for the join and nothing comes off it, so the sum is simply the sum. The road movement between the two is already inside the figures, and the entry says which way round it runs.
- Does anything on this site take payment?
No. Nothing is collected here at any point. When you agree to an offer, each company bills you itself under its own name and terms, and you pay that company rather than this office.
